The Harlem Renaissance
The Harlem renaissance is the era of prolific African-american creativity and literature, art, artists and poets. The movement began with African-American artist and writers came to Harlem New York from almost every state in the south. It helped the writers publish books especially African-Americans. Harlem Renaissance began after WW1 and lead into the 1930's into in the Great Depression. The Harlem Renaissance is known as the rebirth of African-American music.
Our topic fits under hedonism because it is the pursuit of happiness and people are chasing their dreams, they want to express and let people know they're talents.
