The Jazz Singer (the movie)

The Jazz singer was made in 1927. The main character’s name was Jese Robin (played by Neill Diamond) used to be Yussel Rabinovitch (changed his name) lives in New York. He is jewish and sings. One day  when singing on stage Jese’s father recognized his talent. Though Jese had a talent his father did not want him to sing for entertainment only for God. He was asked to be in a group called “the four brothers” that he originally wrote songs for. It was a black group , so he had to paint his face black in order to perform with them. Overtime they had gotten famous and they needed a manager who is Molly. Molly and Jese had a “thing” for each other and ended up having a baby. Molly did not tell him right away though. “The Four Brothers” had went Gold and continued on with their carrer.
